LABORATORY FURNITURE SYSTEMS

Assessing requirements for a new project involving capital expenditure and high specifications can be a very complicated and time-consuming exercise.

Our specialist designers will assist you throughout the process of designing a laboratory to suit your needs. Alternatively you may wish to specify a laboratory layout of your own for us to evaluate on your behalf.

TRESPA - WORKTOPS

Trespa is ideal for use in a variety of laboratories from pharmaceutical, electronic to cosmetic and food production environments. There two main types of Trespa. Trespa Athon and Trespa TopLab.

Trespa Athlon has has a high resistance to organic solvents such as acetone, xylene and similar substances. However, it is not advised where concentrated strong acids are frequently used.

Trespa TopLab however offers a higher resistance to most aggressive chemicals. Its surface will not be damaged or stained if chemicals are removed from it within 24 hours.

EPOXY RESIN WORKTOPS

Epoxy resin is the modern laboratory worktop material which offers the best combination of durability, chemical and stain resistance. The hard smooth glossy finish is designed to be particularly durable whilst the homogenous nature of the material means that chemical properties remain consistent throughout the worktop's thickness. Other work surface materials available are; Solid grade laminate, Stainless Steel 316 quality, Solid iroko hardwood, Postformed laminate, Corian, Polypropylene. Other materials and cores are available on request.
